Beau Legeer — Author
Before writing fiction, Beau Legeer spent three decades building the tools that let humanity see itself from above. His debut novel brings the same precision — and the same vast sense of landscape — to the story of what we fail to see in the people closest to us.

Beau Legeer spent more than thirty years at the frontier of geospatial technology — first as a programmer at Research Systems Inc., the company that developed IDL, then through senior roles at Exelis VIS, Harris Geospatial, DigitalGlobe/MAXAR, and ultimately as Director of Imagery and Remote Sensing at Esri, where he helped define how the world's largest GIS company brought commercial satellite imagery to millions of users.
That career gave him an unusual lens on the world. He has spent his professional life looking at the Earth from above, watching how cities grow, how coastlines shift, how infrastructure ages — and how the distance between a satellite and the surface below can collapse into something intimate and precise when the right tools are applied.
The Levels Between Us is his first novel. It draws on that same instinct — the belief that the right vantage point changes everything you think you understand about what you're seeing. Set against landscapes that shift between urban and open, the book explores ambition, connection, and the quiet devastation of distance that grows between people who believe they're standing still.
Beau lives in Louisville, Colorado with his wife Sandy. He is already at work on his second novel, The Accidental Executive, and has outlined a third project.
The Levels Between Us is available now on Amazon in both print and Kindle editions.

Three novels at different stages — a debut, a completed manuscript, and a project taking shape in the author's imagination.
The debut novel. Available now on Amazon in print and Kindle. A layered story of ambition, landscape, and the distances we manufacture between ourselves and the people we love.
